This sample features the new Pear Pizazz Stampin' Up! Color and the Watercolor Trio stamp set that is in the Summer Mini.  Remember only a few more weeks to order from the Summer Mini!

I love what I do and one of my favorite things is to plan projects for Stampin' Up! Parties and classes.  There are so many ideas it is hard to narrow it down.   In July I featured the stamp set Friends are Forever.  Just imagine being able to enjoy sitting down and stamping a card for your good friend.  Think how special she will feel when she opens it and knows that in your busy life you took time to stamp her a card, just for her.  No matter if you are an expert stamper or new to stamping a Stampin' Up! party attending a party and making a hand stamped card is always fun.  Be sure and check out my calendar of events to attend an upcoming class or book your own party today, your friends will thank you for years to come!

I promised weeks ago to post some pictures of my Stampin' Room.  When we built our home 9 years ago I pictured myself in this room – but ended up in the large family room in the basement.  While it was a very nice room, I longed for lots of natural light and being part of the outdoors. The new stamp room has a large arch window that makes me feel like I am stamping outdoors.  I still use the room downstairs for classes.

Yesterday i enjoyed stamping a Birthday card for our Granddaughter who turned 6. favorite stamp set is the Build a Bear Workshop "BearyBest Friends" stamp set so I knew she would love to get this card that I used the Bigz Bear die to make.  I absolutely love stamping in my new room!

Stamp Room 6 AdhesiveYou would be surprise how much space these cabinets have.  Since the room is just off our main entry it needs something that looked great, had lots of space and was convenient for stamping.  As a stamper you know you how it is, you don't want to have to go far to get the next needed item. I can sit at my desk and everything is within hands reach.

The cutting table and stamp set holder is the coolest.  I like to stand when I cut cardstock and I didn't want to have to bend, this is the perfect height for me (but remember I am only 5' 2").  With the new clear mount stamps coming in DVD cases can you imagine how many I will be able to get in the shelves someday soon (smiling).

A few days ago I received an email from Margaret Peltier hoping all is well with me and my family since I had not posted in over a month.  It is hard to believe that it has been that long, but in a way it seems like forever.  I am hoping more than Margaret missed me and know I missed sharing with you and hope it never goes that long again!

June was packed full with graduations, a beautiful wedding and a short vacation.  Tom and I spent 4 days at John Hall's Alaskan Lodge, not in Alaska but along the  Mississippi River on Lake Pepin in Southeastern Minnesota.

We sat on the deck and enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Pepin each evening, with several discussion of why it is a lake and not just the river.  But never fear internet was near… so we popped on and looked it up.

Alaska 2010

Besides all the personal fun and activities I was busy scrambling and I mean scrambling to earn the Stampin' Up! Alaskan Cruise.  In mid May Stampin' Up! announced double cruise points…I spent several hours going over the numbers and brain storming!  With lots of help from loyal and dedicated customers, downline, family and friends on June 30th I submitted the final orders with just a few hours to spare.

The Winner Is…

You & moi

The card above is made using the "You & Moi" stamp set.

For complete details about this card visit my website.

Last month maybe even two now, I promised my newsletter subscribers anyone who posted a comment on my blog would have their name put into a drawing for a free stamp set "You & Moi".  The lucky winner is

Jamie Clennon, congratulations Jamie you can just email me claim your prize!

Just moved my stamp room and waiting for one more book shelf hutch to arrive and then I will snap some pictures and post them.  Now off to stamp some Top Ten cards for my downline.
