Archive for July, 2010

11 years of Hostess Appreciations… I can hardly believe it myself.  Every year is special and this year like many others I have a hard time getting out my Thank Yous without a few tears and becoming a bit choked up.  I really can't thank my Hostesses enough for inviting me into their lives and letting me share what I love so much!  So without further ado I will go over some of the highlights.  It all starts out with a theme and this year being so close to the 4th, what could be better than Real Red, Night of Navy and Whisper White.  I know the outside of this card was cased and I am sorry I don't remember where I saw it, but the inside was my own creation.  Each year I like to have a special hand stamped invite that is totally different than the year before.

A few days ago I received an email from Margaret Peltier hoping all is well with me and my family since I had not posted in over a month.  It is hard to believe that it has been that long, but in a way it seems like forever.  I am hoping more than Margaret missed me and know I missed sharing with you and hope it never goes that long again!

June was packed full with graduations, a beautiful wedding and a short vacation.  Tom and I spent 4 days at John Hall's Alaskan Lodge, not in Alaska but along the  Mississippi River on Lake Pepin in Southeastern Minnesota.

We sat on the deck and enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Pepin each evening, with several discussion of why it is a lake and not just the river.  But never fear internet was near… so we popped on and looked it up.

Alaska 2010

Besides all the personal fun and activities I was busy scrambling and I mean scrambling to earn the Stampin' Up! Alaskan Cruise.  In mid May Stampin' Up! announced double cruise points…I spent several hours going over the numbers and brain storming!  With lots of help from loyal and dedicated customers, downline, family and friends on June 30th I submitted the final orders with just a few hours to spare.

The Winner Is…

You & moi

The card above is made using the "You & Moi" stamp set.
