April 2007 386

Tom and I are enjoying a lazy day on one of the promenade deck on the
Royal Caribbean in the Southern Caribbean, Life is good!

This picture was taken on the promenade deck while on the Stampin' Up! Panama Cruise 2007.  We were participating in a walk for Brest Cancer and my Mom was cheering everyone on as they rounded the deck.  I know this isn't her favorite picture – but I love this picture of her, her eyes are full of life and her smile of complete happiness.

Many of you know she has been battling Ovarian Cancer for the past 4 years.  Her cancer has become resistant to the Chemo and it is no longer being effective, so they are trying some experimental drug. We are moving into more unfamiliar grounds and again reminded to take one day at a time. We have appreciated all the prayers for her the past few years and ask that you continue to pray for us in this next leg in our journey.

My Mom is an incredible person. Always positive seeing the glass half full not empty and seeing the good in others, supportive and encouraging.  She has been a huge part of my Stampin' Up! business while not being a stamper herself, and so very proud of what I do. This cruise is a bitter sweet… My Mom wasn't able to come with us this year, she has enjoyed 3 Stampin' Up! cruises along with Tom and I.  But  I know she will be excited to see our pictures and hear all about it when we get home.

April's Big Shot Class Projects

You heard me right! May and June are busy months in Minnesota with great weather, weddings and graduation.  So I am offering a special bookin' bonus for anyone who books a  workshop (mini card class) in May or June.

The last chance list is coming, and we are retiring over 24 colors!  Be the one to offer a FUN class to invite your friends to…and, I'm going to give a way a FREE BIG SHOT!! (or 100.00 in dies if you own one already)

Here is the deal! I am starting a new kind of workshop called mini-card classes.  You and your friends will get to make 5 cards for only $5.00, and then if they put in a $30 order or more their cards are FREE!!

All you need to do is gather 6-10 friends, I will come to you with everything cut and ready!!  Trust me…it will be FUN!    Everyone loves making 5 cards, and I will include the envelopes.

If I get at least 3 bookings from this email, then I will draw for a FREE BIG shot! That's a 116.00 VALUE! Or if you already own the Big Shot, you can pick out 100.00 of your choice in dies!!!

If for some reason, I don't get three bookings….(LIKE who wouldn't want to schedule one of these fun classes!) Then whoever does schedule one will get a one-time 30% off coupon on the Big Shot or Big shot products. Classes must be scheduled for May or June, and the Big Shot will be given away after all the workshops are held.

Email Me to book your Minicard class today!
Don't forget I will be out of my stampin' office until May 4th while we are on the Stampin' Up! Southern Caribbean Cruise! So I will return your email then.

Swapping on cruise is much different than swapping at other events.  At convention it looks like the floor of wall street with cards held in the air, swapping back and forth and complete excitement and even a bit of chaos.  Conventions swaps take days to complete the 100 – 200 cards you swap (and some demo's may even make hundreds more).  For cruise you only have to make one swap – visit the hospitality room and drop it into the share basket.  The great part is while you are on the ship you get to see all the cards that have been dropped of, as Stampin' Up! puts them on display.

Here is my Southern Caribbean 2010 swap!

The Designer Series Paper "Island Oasis" is the new paper from the Summer Mini Catalog.  The texture was created with the Big Shot Square Lattice Folder.  Your mini catalog should be arriving any day, if you have not received your copy just drop me an email and I will be happy to get one out to you!

We set sail today.  I can't thank you all enough for your continued support of my business.  This is the 8th incentive trip I have earned through Stampin' Up!  We are treated like royalty and every moment is precious.

It is always so exciting for me to plan and host a special night for my $500 club members.  Last week we made these projects at our Hugs & Kisses night, using the Hugs & Kisses notes along with glassine envelopes that are in the Occasions Mini.  Don't forget you have less than 2 weeks to order from the Occasions Mini don't miss your favorite stamp set or product.

At my 500 club events I have a $25 board… for every $25 they purchase their name goes into a drawing and we filled the board at the last event.  Vickie Schlosser was the lucky winner of $75 in free product of her choice.  Congratulations VIckie!

What is a 500 Club?

When you host a $500 workshop or more with me you become an exclusive
member of the 500 Club for the next year.  During the year 500 Club
members enjoy special events just for them with special offers, prizes
and make & takes.

I would love for you to be part of this exclusive group.  Book a workshop and we will work together to make it a $500 Party! Besides being in the 500 Club you also earn lots of wonderful free products!  Hugs & Kisses to everyone!

1 Inspired by Amy Czuba

This card we made at my monthly card class last Saturday along with 10 others, to take a peak at the other cards just click the image above. This sample was cased from Amy Czuba a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

My goal is to post an update to my blog in five minutes or less…hoping I can do that!   I will report at the end of this post how long it actually took!  You see many days it takes me over and hour to write a post, hence I don't do it everyday.  So if I could get this down to 5-10 min. and you are happy with the results I will try to post more often and not worry so much about what I am writing, after all you are interested in the stamping ideas, not what I have to say!

stamp set used for this card is Flower Fancy and is one of the terrific stamp sets you can
purchase for 20% off, you read that right!  Don't wait too long April will go fast as I will be leaving for the Southern Caribbean on the 24th. If you miss me you can always place your order online 24/7 through my website.

Don't delay take a peak at all of the stamp sets you can save BIG on this month!

Report it took me 13 minutes so I will have to speed up a bit!  How did I do?
