Good bye Heartfelt Thanks

When ever someone would ask me if you had to get rid of all your stamp sets except one, which would you keep "Heartfelt Thanks" was it!   Now I will have to say good-bye at least for demonstrating purposes.  Last week workshops customers were able to make this stunning card using The Big Shot, I also showed them how they could make the card until their Big Shot arrives.  I mean what stamper can live without one? To Big Shot or Not to Big shot, which is your favorite?

Friday was our Son's 10th wedding anniversary and he stopped by and mentioned he purchased a card,  I said "WHAT!"

Last year he came over and hand stamped a card which I posted on my blog (you can see last years card by clicking here) and I thought it would be a great tradition.  He really likes my big shot and so I showed him my latest die the "Movers and the Shapers" so he had to try it out and the next thing you know he was designing a card for his wife.

How much fun to spend time stampin' with my boy maybe we can get him working on baby Alayna's scrapbook… Many demo friends witnessing me waiting for the phone call from Hawaii that she had arrived.  She was such a good baby and came late the day we arrived home!  She is a good planner.

Several weeks ago I gave myself a challenge to complete my Hawaii 2009 Album.  It is always a goal to have the album ready for the first workshop I have when I get home, well that didn't exactly happen this year.  One day I had 3 hours and challenged myself to complete it… well the 3 hours became less as life happens and I wasn't able to complete the album, but I did get 10 pages and the cover done.  One of the wonderful things about scrapbooking is reliving the memories and again today as I uploaded them I was able to relive this exciting trip.  You can share my memories with my be clicking the album below, enjoy.

This is a special card I received when I celebrated my Birthday on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip to the Panama Cannel from stamper-demo friend Jan Burnett.  Not only is she an awesome person, but she is a terrific demo, earning the incentive trip her first full year as a SU demonstrator.  She has a great story if you have never heard it!  I just love to listen to her she has the cutest accent… since we in MN do not have one ya know it is so fun to hear others.  Visit her blog and feel her enthusiasm click here.

You will be wild about this stamp set.  There are over 4,000 samples made with this card on Split Coast Stampers, that is a good indication of the popularity of this set and also the versatility.  Take a peak at some of the samples by visiting www.splitcoaststampers.com
